A waterproofed roof

The PoweRRoof I2S is a full building integrated photovoltaic system (BIPV). The “one piece” design obviates the need for the assembly of individual parts and sealing. The material used (the components) is designed to withstand all types of constraints, including severe weather and heavy snow loads.

Optimized drainage solution

A roof is designed to “protect” the building that it covers, as well as to drain rain water. The system PoweRRoof I2S is equipped with drainage gutters between each component, which guarantees the complete sealing of the PoweRRoof I2S.

2 Ventilation

Performance of the solar panel

To optimize the performance of the photovoltaic module, the system PoweRRoof I2S allows free air flow between the bottom component and the module itself. The lateral air intakes facilitate the ventilation of the modules due to a stack effect thus providing temperature regulation as well. Thus overheating does not occur and the module is able to constantly produce its maximum efficiency.

Wind resistance

The system PoweRRoof I2S is designed to sustain extreme weather conditions (cyclones). Validated by the CSTB, it is one of the only systems approved for overseas territories. Due to numerous tests in wind tunnels, the PoweRRoof I2S evolved into the most secure system on the market. Thanks to the monobloc solution, the entire Powe Roof I2S system is rigid thus ensuring mechanical strength.

Environmental impact

From the aesthetic point of view, the PoweRRoof I2S is designed to blend into the overall “look” of the building by becoming part of the roof thanks, in part, to the supporting elements discreet black color.
